06 Jun 2023 We just happened to be in the area and we're hungry. Good, solid Mexican food. A sign behind the cash register offers 3 breakfast tacos for $4.25, as long as they are the same kind. Not a bad deal. The husband had the carne asada plate and I had a combo plate. My combo was a bean, cheese, lettuce and tomato, avocado with sour cream tostada, an asada taco (stuffed with enough meat to make a couple more tacos), rice and beans. I moved the avocado slices to the taco. The green sauce is not hot at all. The red salsa served with the chips is delicious with just the right amount of hot. The asada meat is pretty tender. I would have liked some onions in it. I guess I could've asked for some. Iced tea is served in a large to-go cup. Service is pleasant and non-intrusive. The menu is extensive. At least three pages of lunch/dinner options. Go there.

The cook is phenomenal. Everything coming out of that kitchen is ' Mama' standard. I would marry the cook if she was single! Lol. I enjoyed my meal and was numbed out when I finished my plate. Salsa de tomate Hecho em casa y riquíssimo. Las meseras lindas y muy serviçal.

Prompt service, great tasting food, coffee and tea. Chicken cooked well and soft. Homemade corn tortillas. Open on the Labor Day holiday. Double tipped for that reason. Sincere service, perfect Cons: No breakfast after 11.

I was trying to get to another Mexican restaurant via Yelp, following directions on my iPad, when it ran out of battery. I cruised down the road a bit more, knowing that it was somewhere along the way, but it was late and time was running out and I didn't see it. That's when I noticed this taqueria and decided to just try it instead. Glad I did... Now what I really was looking for was a good Chile Relleno, but they only serve those on Fridays as a special. Still, this place had such an authentic vibe that I decided to see what else I might want. I chose the "Tosatadas / Chalupas", and with ground beef plus cheese it had the works on it -- sour cream too, plus actual avocado slices, not some runny imitation of guacamole you normally get. I ordered it "to-go". I don't know why there would be two names for the same dish, but then again I'm visiting from Minnesota, and we don't understand all the nuances of real Mexican food. All I know about chalupas I learned from Taco Bell. Pretty sad, that, right? So the order came and filled the rather large plastic bag, and I brought it back to the hotel. Then I found out why the order had filled up the bag. There were *two* styrofoam containers inside -- the order was too big to fit in just one! There were a total of three big tostadas piled high with lettuce, tomatoes, beans, ground beef, avocado, and sour cream... And it was delicious! I had to add some salsa to the mix, but that's about the only slight criticism I have. Check them out. As for me, I might be returning Friday for that Chile Relleno...

Went in for breakfast before I headed out of town and it was your typical Taqueria menu. I order pancakes go figure. The staff was friendly and there were hardly any people there but they still took a while for us to get our breakfast. Tortillas here are all homemade. They do come around to offer you coffee a few times and the food comes out hot. I do not like the the hot sauces and that they leave them on the table all day long. It's a miracle people don't get sick. The prices here are very reasonable it's was 2 of us and we had breakfast with drinks for $9.00 and change. I am taking pictures of menu because it is to much to look at and figure out "what do I want" lol. It was worth it for the price.
